What can I do?

Many times in a day, I ask myself
what can I do ?

what can I do, when I see a child begging around,
why cann’t he live a normal child life,

what can I do, when I see a old person helpless,
why there children are not looking after them,

what can I do, when people not following the rules,
why life is so fast,

what can I do, when somebody attack on my motherland,
why cannt they use there energy to save there own house,

what can I do, when somebody is not doing his duties,
why there is corruption everywhere

what can I do, when somebody kill his daughter
why he cannt understand that a girl only gave him birth,

what can I do, when I miss my love ones
why cannt I go and meet them

what can I do, when somebody leave me alone
why I cannt make everybody happy

what can I do, when people fight for religion,
what can I do, when somebody point finger on my nation,
what can I do, when I see money is everything for all,

what can I do ?

My First Love

It was summer and I was sleeping on the roof top when a sweet sound waked me up. This sound was of my neighbour "Nandita" and she was talking with her younger brother. I waked up and went to see her, it was the day when we was not able to stop each other for seeing each other for continuously more then half an hour. It was her 18th Birthday and I was waiting for this day from last 5 years. I shouted loudly "Happy Birthday Nandita". She showed me her beautiful smile and ran away. I was standing there and was seeing my future, my dreams with my wide open eyes. I will propose her today, I will give lots of gift to her, I will make her day and still I was dreaming that my mother called me to come down. I rushed down quickly. Mom asked me the reason of my excitement. I told her nothing. I saw that Nandita was going out somewhere. I went to her house and planned a surprise party with her parents. They agreed and I thought that now all my plans will be in my hand. I was very much happy. I came back and got ready for market to do shopping. I was just checking my pocket and I was having only 50 rupee in my pocket. It was mid month and I was not in condition to ask for pocket money for next month in advance. I checked my saving and I was safe, there was enough money for party.
I went to market and bought the things for party and booked a heart shape Cake. I went to archies and bought a very beautiful pink color watch. On my way to home, I plucked a red flower from my school.
I told her mother to send Nandita out for some time. She told her to go out for some shopping. I decorated the room after that. I invited some of her close friends at 6:00 PM. She came back at 5:30 PM. Her mother told her to wear new dress. She went in and when she came back at 5:45 PM, She was looking like a princess. Her blue eyes, red lips. I whispered in her ears "You are looking Gorgeous". I asked her to go on roof. We went upstairs. I bent on my knees with the red rose in my hands. I was seeing the reddish of sun was giving glow to her beautiful face. I told her "Happy Birthday Nandita, I was waiting for this day from many years. Every day and night I dream for us. I cann't live without you. I Love You Nandita from the deep of my heart" and I offered the red rose and the gift to her. She was silent. She took the rose and gift from me and ran away.
We celebrated her birthday, it was good but she was not even surprised for the party. She was silent. Party was over and she handed over a white envelop to me. I wished her good night and kissed her. I rushed to my room and opened it. I was not able to stand up after reading it. She wrote "NO" with her blood on that.
I was not able to stop my tears. I was not able to understand the reason. Next morning I rushed to her house and asked for her. I went to her room. Her eyes were also wet. She told me that she has got admission in one of the USA College and she is going to live with her uncle there and she will not come back. I was shocked and I went back without saying anything.

I am still waiting for her to come back.
